Alumni Engagement

Your Alumni Network

As a University of Michigan School of Public Health student, you are immediately connected to your alumni network—a community of over 19,000 professionals living in all 50 states and more than 110 countries across the globe.

Alumni were once students like you and want to remain connected by providing support to their Michigan Public Health community. Throughout the year, students have the opportunity to meet alumni in and out of the classroom, with over 1,500 alumni mentoring students, visiting campus to recruit for position openings, and serving as career panelists and guest speakers each year. Michigan Public Health alumni are committed to your success and experience as a student. As part of the Look to Michigan campaign, over 2,500 alumni have donated to the School of Public Health.

Donor support helps our faculty and students work to solve the greatest health problems affecting the world, and empowers their pursuit to create a healthier world for all. The Office of Development and Alumni Engagement connects donors to the students and faculty they support ensuring donors experience the impact of their gift through storytelling.

Mentorship & Networking

Throughout the year, alumni are invited to connect with their Michigan Public Health community through events hosted virtually, on campus and across the country. These events provide alumni with an opportunity to stay connected, to learn about the critical work happening across the School of Public Health as well as the valuable resources available to them.
