Dr. Jones is a public health nutritionist interested in understanding how food systems influence climate change, and how the policy process functions to generate food policy in the United States.

Research Interests:
Food policy, policy implementation, the geography of food systems, food systems and
climate change.
Research Projects:
Jones is currently PI of a research study in Arequipa, Peru examining the structural
determinants of water insecurity and perceived impacts of water insecurity on physical
and mental health
